Still, Vicki, that's an awfully good rejection!
I sent an email to DAW today, just to make sure they got HD. Even though the PO says they did, I'm rather wary of the PO, for understandable reasons, I think. So, we'll see. If anything, it might give me a rejection earlier. :)

Geez, Jen, I've been lax about updating here.
Okay, I got a rejection from Black Gate for A little bit of luck. That was the short story I wrote for the humorous fantasy dare at Forward Motion. Their response was, "This is a solid and suprising tale, but we're looking for more traditional adventure fantasy and are nearly oversold on light fantasy. I'm afraid I'll have to return it with regrets." I'm beginning to think that there really is no place for my work.
